It’s time once again for the annual Lion’s Club auction this Saturday, May 21.
People from all over Rappahannock will gather at the Washington fire house to purchase everything from attic fans to zebra cages.
The sale will be conducted by Emmett White, noted antiquarian and local auctioneer, who is donating his services for the event.
The auction is one of the most successful ways the Lions raise money for the Rappahannock community. The money they raise goes toward such projects as the sight and hearing program, supplying hearing aids and glasses to those who need them, and sponsoring a van to check all ages for sight and hearing defects.
