Robertson mentioned the placement of the witness chair where the judge can see the witness clearly. “Its placement now is not only too close to the judge, but it’s at, an angle where the judge can’t clearly observe his face,” he said.
More severe, said Robertson, is the lack of privacy in the jury room. “If we send the jury in during arguments, they can hear everything in the courtroom," he maintained. “Likewise, we can hear their deliberations, which is not good either.
