When questions from the audience were sought, Robert Leibold of Amissville told the joint assembly that they might as well construct a new courthouse altogether. “Speaking as an acoustician, I know that you’ll never make the courtroom or the jury room, soundproof,” Leibold said.
Robert Eastham of Flint Hill told the judges that he was impressed by their concentration on a commonsense, practical approach to the problem. “It appears that there is no need for bricks or mortar here,” he said.
