Mrs. Lucy Thornhill is a surgical patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Robert Thornhill and son, Robbie and a friend from Fairfax were guests last Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill.
Mr. and Mrs. James L. Knick and children, Kristie, Jason and Daniel of Oxon Hill, Md. were Saturday guests of Mrs. Knick’s grandfather, F. R. Frazier. On Sunday, Mr. Frazier and Harold and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Michele and Michael were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville. Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier of Fredericksburg joined the family in the afternoon and they all were supper guests of the Atkins.
Mrs. Harriet Wood of “Dun-Lookin’’ farm spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Cooper in Silver Spring, Md. and attended the rehearsal dinner on Friday evening and the Clifford-Shepherd wedding in Rockville, Md. on Saturday.
Mrs. Bobby Timbers with Mrs. Marie Seal of Syria visited Charlie Brown in Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Wednesday.
Mrs. John Lamb returned home on Tuesday from Culpeper Memorial Hospital and has been visited by Mrs. Annie Ruth Fincham, Mrs. Glenn Cave and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and Peggy.
Mr. Lewis Smith is a patient in University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sims entertained on Saturday with a dinner in honor of the birthdays of Sharon and Paula Sims. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Danny Sims and Erin Elizabeth of Charlottesville, Mr. and Mrs. Rany Sims and Amanda and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Johnston of Boston.
