“Rappahannock County has two treasures — its land and its people,” Diane Wood, write-in candidate in Hampton District, stated at last Wednesday’s forum.
To protect the land, the county needs “a fair comprehensive plan to control growth, a zoning ordinance to preserve and protect its agricultural and conservation districts and safe places to dump non-burnable trash,” Wood said.
