There’s a scene in the jail — Miller’s favorite sequence — when a guy slams into a cell door left opened by Murphy, knocking the man flat. “Hey Luther, what’s happening?” Murphy asked his out of breath friend. Miller, still laughing as he told the story, recalled that the calf was born right after he saw the movie. “There wasn’t another name we could give him!”
