we must count on friends to “spread the word.” Despite the many hours of dedicated voluntary effort our venture is costly so we must charge admission. But discount block tickets and special rates for youths, the elderly and for members of RAAC make it easier.
Nonetheless, our expenses are heavy. We have purchased quality projection equipment, we must rent commercial films which were produced at great cost, we must pay the rent and heat the theatre. Our mission is to provide superior entertainment to as many as possible. We do not try to compete with nearby commercial theatres. But we can get many good films soon after their first showing and we can bring back the classic “sleepers” for those who
