The public will be able to tour the new business office/bus shop building when the school board holds an open house on October 26 at 8:15 p.m.
The open house was planned to coincide with “Back to School Night’’ at RCES at 7 p.m.
In asking the school board for its approval Tuesday night, superintendent Robert Estabrook said he would invite office staff and board members to help welcome guests. The new sign for the building will be erected by then, Estabrook added, receiving joshing from the board when he tried to draw a picture of the sign—which will be tan and brown and hang from a “T” shaped pole.
The board decided to convene early on that evening to hold a policy manual work session.
