It’s A Girl
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch of Washington announce the birth of a daughter, Amber Dawn, bom on September 12, 1983, at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. Amber weighed eight pounds and nine ounces.
Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. John Dennis of Madison.
Mrs. Ethel Pullen of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. William Woodward of Etlan are the great grandparents.

Amissville’s volunteer firemen and rescue squad members are soliciting donations of saleable items for a benefit auction set for October 22 at the firehall.
Pick up of contributions can be arranged by calling 937-5205, 937-5125, 937 5282 or 937-5795. Money raised by the auction will go toward operating expenses and a new ambulance which is scheduled for delivery in December.
