each of the county s 19 bus drivers and 23 buses travel during each month and the fuel economy each achieves. For instance, last month the best mileage was obtained by Mike Grigsby who travels the Rock Mills/Laurel Mills route. He got 6.6 miles per gallon. The lowest mileage, 2.8 miles per gallon was attributed to spare bus #14 which traveled 117 miles.

The most miles were traveled by Roberta Jenkins who covered 2,595 miles in her Amissville/Piedmont run.

Finally the board rejected the bid of $26.50 on the schools’ 1966 Fobd.
