Wakefield led 2-0 in the first half. A strong defense with outstanding play h the halfbacks stymied 0pahannock’s offense repeatedly and when a forward managed to slip through for a shot, the ball was easily controlled by the Owls’ goalie. Rappahannock did manage what appeared to be a goal midway through the second half but Doug McCabe was called for off sides on the shot.
