A Warrenton man led police from two counties on a high speed chase from Fauquier into Rappahannock County last week.
Fauquier deputies were called to a residence near town after a report was received that 25-vear-old Scott A. Clore had inflicted wounds upon himself, according to Rappahannock £ deputy John Henry Woodward. When police arrived on the scene, Clore fled in his mother’s car down Route 211 through Culpeper and into Rappahannock County, traveling at speeds in excess of 85 miles per hour.
Woodward and deputy Ed Streapy joined the chase at the bottom of Boot Jordan Hill, 1 Vi miles east of Ben Venue, the deputy said.
