2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt

Beat together brown sugar, butter and vanilla at medium speed about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add combined flour, corn meal, baking powder, cinnamon, sale and nutmeg alternately with sour cream, mixing well. Fold in apples and nuts. Spoon into 9 cup bundt pan anil bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool on rack. Frost with browned butter icing. (A 9x5 inch loaf pan may be substituted for bundt pan. Adjust baking time to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
