Fellow came into the News office with a 26 pound raccoon. We had to see it to believe it. Steve and Jimmy Foster, and James Stringfellow went hide-hunting in Bean Hollow. In seven hours they treed seven coons and brought home two. The other one weighed nearly 19 pounds.

Here’s another hunting story and we saw the photo so we know it’s true. Ronnie Lee Compton brought down two seven point bucks within three days. One of them weighed 152 pounds and the other weighed 162 pounds and took second place in the Amissville gun shop’s big buck contest. Ronnie is a guy who doesn’t stop when he’s onto a good thing.
