In the hollow there is one working farm, run by Bill and Bill, as they are generally known. It is a highly diversified farm, especially in its animal husbandry activities.
Its livestock includes horses, ponies, an occasional mule, cattle, sheep, goats and hogs, a great variety of domestic fowls, ducks, geese, guinea hens, turkeys. There are two partially worked farms, both of which have Belgian draft horses.
