Aubrey Keyser found a tree at Rock Mills. It was five inches in diameter around the trunk and about 15 feet high and he had to take the windshield out of his old Ford in order to carry the tree to Sperrvville. “People didn’t know what was going on,” he recalled, chuckling at the memory. “I had the trunk sticking out the front of the car. It looked like a tree going down the road! They couldn’t see me behind the wheel driving.”
