Arthur Smoot, Jr. of Front Royal was a guest last Wednesday of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot and Gary. Mr. and Mrs. Smoot visited with Humpy Smoot at the Life Care Center at New Market last Tuesday.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church held their Christmas program on Sunday and was well attended.
Mrs. Bob Lewis and Charles Corder, Jr. with Mrs. Helen Coffey, Mrs. Polly Aylor and Heather. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers, Clifton Nethers and Ray Nethers attended a dedication and Christmas service at the Bethlehem Church at Nethers on Sunday. A stained glass window was dedicated in memory of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nethers and Robert Nethers.

WQRA-FM stereo is celebrating Christmas with a v ariety of musical programs.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day choruses from local schools will present music of the season at intervals during the day and evening.
Christmas Eve will find a special broadcast from Douglas Edwards at the North Pole, where at G: 10 p.m. he will speak to Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the elves as they prepare for the night’s journey.
The Warrenton Chorale and Youth Chorale w ill present their Christmas concert at Mp.m. Christmas Eve and 4 p.m. Christmas Day.
