Mrs. Frances Thornton, Mrs. J. W. Fletcher and Mrs. B. M. Varner visited Mrs. E. M. Jones of Washington in Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Robert Johnson and daughter, Carole of Culpeper visited friends here on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne returned home last week after visiting Commander and Mrs. Laurence Thompson in Charleston, S.C.

Mike Brown of Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg arrived Friday to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown. His friend, Cathy Macky also of Mary Washington College was a weekend guest.

Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson and son, C. B. Johnson were hosts to a dinner Saturday evening for the families of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence “Billy” Johnson.
