To Meet
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Thursday, January 5, 1984, instead of the fourth Thursday as previously announced.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Peggy Ralph. All members are urged to attend.
Song And Cider
The Christmas Madrigal Singers will pertorm at President James Monroe’s home. Ash Lawn, in Charlottesville the week after Christmas for afternoons of holiday song and cider.

EMT Course Set
There will be an Emergency Medical Technician - Shock Trauma Basic Course held at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital classroom beginning January 9, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. This course is sponsored by the Rappahannock - Rapidan EMS Council.
The cost is $27.25 for textbook and workbook. Preregistration is required and certain criteria need to be met. For further details, call the Rappahannock - Rapidan EMS Council office at 825-6849 from 9-5 Monday-Friday.
New Year’s Party
This is the last week for reservations to the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community’s New Year’s Eve gals.
The $30 tax deductible donation to RAAC covers refreshments at the Middle Street Gallery, dinner and dancing. The dinner menu includes shrimp and ham jambalaya (with an alternative for those who can’t eat seafood), salad, french bread and almond tortoni.

New Year's Eve Service
At Amissville Methodist
A New Year’s Eve service and covered dish dinner will be held at the Amissville United Methodist Church beginning at 7:30 p.m. on December 31.
A film entitled “Super Christian” will be shown at 8:30 p.m. There will be singing, sharing, another film, devotion and communion at 12 midnight. “Come and join us in this time of fellowship,” said a church spokesperson.
EMT-A Refresher
An EMT-A refresher course will be conducted at Fauquier Hospital in January.
Classes will be held Friday, January 6, 6-10; Saturday, January 7, 8-4:30, Friday, January 20, 7-10 and Saturday, January 21, 8-4:30,
Students must attend all classes and practical sessions to be eligible to take the Virginia State Examination. Basic requirements are current, nonexpired EMT-A certification and current CPR certification good through at least March, 1984.
