At a short meeting Monday night concerned primarily with beaurocratic requirements for federal and state grants, Rappahannock’s Water and Sewer Authority members elected officers who will take over their new positions on January 1.
Chairman will be Bob Dennis, vice-chairman Carson Johnson, treasurer Donald Gore and secretary Jim White.
The WSA also adopted a non-discriminatory policy mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency as a prerequisite to award of its $1.5 million grant for construction of Sperryville’s sewer system.
