Their language skills have progressed so that now they usually understand and are understood. “When we go home, everyone there will think that we have an accent,” Kaman said.
Besides learning American English, Kaman and Kaman have acquired a taste for American food. They like pizza and fast food, but eat very little of it due to their need to conserve money.
"Mostly we eat bread when we are camping,” Kaman said. They did meet a pharmaceutical salesman .who gave them multi-vitamin and potassium samples to take on their trip. Food had caused some problems for them on the Trail because they did not hang their supplies in a tree. “We had to stay up all night to
