Shenandoah holds
registration
Registration for the fall semester at Shenandoah College and Conservatory is currently under way.
It runs through Saturday. Classes begin Monday.
Students can register at the Registrar’s office in the Gregory Building from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. A Saturday registration session is scheduled for Aug. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Shingleton Gymnasium.
Students interested in studying toward a degree should contact the school’s admissions office for an application.

Fundraising dinner
for park
The Peoples Partnership for Fauquier Parks will be hosting a fundraising dinner for Licking Run Park on Sept. 13. The dinner will be held at Airlie House outside of Warrenton.
Cocktails, sponsored by the Fauquier National Bank, will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Donations for the evening will be $50 per person
Tickets are available at the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department offices, 62 Culpeper St., or through Diane Rhynalds at 439-8127.
