“That may be a dim view, but it’s a lact,” he adds. “They say that in 20 years, you won’t be able to get a pure drink of water.

He talks of life in horse country, ot hunts and shows and parties.
“We had a much better time when we were growing up than yang people do today,” he says. "Things were simpler then.”
Maybe. Hut things today seem pretty simple for John Gaines. And he wears it well.
