Banks sentenced Tony O’Neal Banks pled guilty to three counts of breaking and entering and three counts of grand larceny and was sentenced in Rappahannock Circuit Court on Aug. 14. Banks was sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary for each charge for a total of 12 years. Eight of those years were suspended.
Banks will serve two of the remaining four years concurrently with sentences he will receive in Culpeper and Fauquier counties. The other two years will be served consecutively. When Banks is released, he will be placed on probation for five years, and he will be required to pay restitution and court costs.
