had a good time, but I didn’t like it,” said kindergartner Jason Baldwin about his first day at Rappahannock County Elementary School on Aug. 26.
While students like Jason were not too sure about the start of the school year, administrators and teachers were pleased with how the day had gone.
“Everything went great,” said Michael Cotter, RCES assistant principal. “There were no problems whatsoever.”
Sixth graders agreed that the day had been fun and they had had a good time, but a few complained that they already had homework.
