The Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s Lights of Love is off to a good start this year. Eula Henretty, chairman, reports that the Auxiliary has received $4,615.
“The community has taken Lights of Love to their hearts, and has shown great support to us,” she said. “It is time to send your gifts. We need many more donations to exceed last year’s total of $10,995.
Expressing the true spirit of the season, a gift to Lights of Love honors or memoralizes an individual and supports a project which benefits the community, a CMH spokesman said.
Proceeds from the annual Auxiliary project will help build a structural canopy to protect patients and guests from inclement weather when entering or leaving the hospital. The auxiliary members recognized the need for the canopy and designated the funds for this project.
