Congratulations, gentlemen, you did it! The ‘Pete Estes Highway* is coming. You are making history, and not because you are building a ■! “ four-lane highway.
You are making history because you are initiating something which cannot be controlled in the future.
There will be more highways coming — the first being the bypass around Sperryville. This will be necessary because the four-laning will create a much more dangerous situation in and around Sperryville than the old Route 211 could ever offer.
