Students visit
area colleges
As part of the RCHS guidance department’s efforts to assist high school students with post-graduate choices, the department recently took a group of 39 RCHS seniors to visit two colleges in the Northern Virginia area.
According to Guidance Director James Futrell, the students first visited tbr Mori heir Virginia Community College in Manassas. While at NOV A, they saw a video about the school, received information about course offerings and took a tour of the campus.
After their visit at NOVA, the group went to George Meson University. They took a walking tour of the school's campus with an admissions counselor, followed by a discussion of majors offered by the school, housing, SAT requirements, the need for students to apply early for admission, and other questions raised by the students.

We had a lot of fun listening to stories and making Indian headbands, pumpkin faces on plates, necklaces out of rigatoni and lots more.
