PUBLIC HEARING • TRASH ORDINANCE On Monday, December 5, 1988, at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County will hold a public hearing concerning a proposed amendment to the Rappahannock county trash ordinance. The amendment would make it unlawful for any person to deposit white goods, (i.E., stoves, refrigerators, freezers, washers, etc.) tires, scrap metal, wood or brush in any place other than at the County’s sanitary landfill, during normal, posted hours of operation. A complete text of the Rappahannock County trash ordinance and proposed amendment is available for inspection from 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday at the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court and at the Building, Zoning and Administration Office, in Washington, VA.
