To the editor:
This is what jail is all about. I am locked up — I came in here on Nov. 4.
It is the second time I have been in jail, and the longest time. I hope that God will be with me and let this be the last time.
I have a family: a wife and three beautiful boys. The oldest is seven and, the two younger ones (twins) are three. They all share the same birthdate, June 10.
Believe me, I miss them. They are the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing I think about before going to sleep.
I am telling you the truth: I would not be in jail if I had not been drinking and had stayed home with my family.
So, I am writing this letter to tell people that if they don’t want to end up in jail like me, stay home. And if they must drink, do it at home.
