One might say that they prospered, for now turkeys are plump, plentiful, and in many cases, irreplaceable on the Thanksgiving table. The foods that accompany the big bird reflect the family’s lifestyle which, over the years, becomes tradition, too.
And so it will be this Thanksgiving Day, 1988. On the American table will be golden roasted turkey.
