Baseball team
seeks winter
practice space
With the completion of the new gymnasium. the Rappahannock County High School baseball team found itself without winter quarters. Coach Gary Leake said. Left out in the cold, the team is looking for a new winter home.
In previous years. Coach Leake said, the team has practiced several days a week in the high school gym. There, the team’s batting cage and pitching machine were set up to allow pitchers and fielders to keep their offensive and defensive skills in shape over the winter
Rut now, the new gym has been declared off-limits to the baseball team. So, Coach Leake said, he is asking for the donation ot a barn.
