The Virginia Commission for the Arts and the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation announced the availability of applications for the 1989 Visual

Arts Fellowship program. Twenty fellowships of $5,000 each will be offered to artists living in the mid-Atlantic region and working in contemporary craft media.

The awards are offered by Mid Atlantic in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Arts and the state arts agencies in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Mew Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
