Ralph Atkins
Ralph Abram Atkins, 87, of Culpeper. died Nov. 12 at his home.
Mr. Atkins was bom April 15, 1901, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Ernest and Mary Dodson Atkins. He was retired from Triplett Milling Co. in Culpeper. He was the husband of the late Susie - Atkins. __
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Atkins, Culpeper and Mrs. Elmer Henry, Front Royal; one son, Ralph S. Atkins, Culpeper; two brothers, Frank Atkins, Sperryville and Clyde Atkins, Luray; one sister, Daisy Rosenberry, Front Royal; three grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
Graveside services were held Nov. 14 at the Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Myrtle Bruce
Myrtle Mary Bruce, 66, of Washington, died Nov. 11 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bruce was bom March 4, 1922, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Robert and Eunice Haines Butler.
Surviving are her husband, Solomon Bruce; three sons. Samuel W. Bruce, Charles Junior Bruce and Thomas E. Bruce, all of Washington; three daughters, Eleanor David Pullen, Washington, Mary Ann Leake, Chester Gap and Jean Mildred Mays, Calverton; one brother, Elmer Robert Butler, Calverton; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Nov. 15 at Gid Brown Bible Church with the Rev. John K. Burke officiating.
