This month, in addition to newspapers, aluminum and glass, the truck will also accept glossy paper such as magazines and catalogues. They should be bundled or packaged separately from newspapers.
Piedmont Recycling is also accepting plastic containers made of HDPE; such as milk containers, oil and bleach bottles, six-pack rings and dish detergent bottles. No other type of plastic will be accepted.
At this time. Piedmont Recycling is not accepting tin cans.
She also asked that, as in the past, newspapers and magazines be tied or bundled in bags (no plastic or synthetic string or bags, please): glass be rinsed and separated into clear, amber and green; and cardboard boxes be broken down.
