Michael Dunn II

Michael Hathoway “Mikey” Dunn II, 19, of Washington died March 25 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Dunn was bom Feb. 14, 1970, in Winchester, the son of Michael H. Dunn I of Middletown and Judy Carpenter Dunn Stringfellow of Washington. He was employed as assistant comptroller with Dulles Drywall Inc. He was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

Surviving with his parents are his stepfather, Charles Stringfellow, Washington; one sister, Jessica Ann Elizabeth Stringfellow, Washington; his maternal grandparents, George E. and Betty D. Carpenter, Winchester; his maternal great-grandfafher, Paul J. Dodson, Winchester; and his paternal grandparents, John H. and Gwendolyn A. Dunn Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C.

Funeral services were held March 29 at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester with Father James D. Muldowney officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Michael H. Dunn I, David P. Dunn, John H. Dunn III, Gary A. Carpenter, William J. Arias, Thomas John Gaines, Ernest H. Coats III, L.C. Foster Jr., Raymond D. West, George W. Casileal III, Steven Novak, Mark Atwell, William C. Weaver and John Maraney.

Virginia Beales

Virginia Earl Beales, 86, of Culfieper, widow of William Thomas Beales, died March 26 at Autumn Care of Madison.

Mrs. Beales was a native of Rappahannock County and the daughter of the late Hezekiah and Sarah Johnson Rudasill. She had lived in Culpeper County since 1930.

Mrs. Beales was organist for a number of years for Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Alum Spring Baptist Church and Geest ^Johnson Funeral Home. She was a member of Alum Spring Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, W.T. Beales Jr., Culpeper; two grandaughters, Amy Vital, Richmond
