radio workshop
HARRISONBURG — WMRAFM, public radio in the Shenandoah Valley, will conduct its second annual Summer Broadcast Institute at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, June 18-24.
The institute provides rising high school seniors with exposure to radio and television production and discussions of professional and ethical responsibilities of people interested in broadcasting careers.
Thirty students form Virginia will be selected to attend. Interested students have until March 24 to apply. Applications are available by contacting Jim Miskimen, General Manager, WMRA-FM, James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va. 22807.
