The Keysers sold the property to Mr. and Mrs. Edwin F. Benton in 1948, who owned it until 1960, when they sold it to Willis B. Snell.
Mr. and Mrs. Barton, who purchased the property from Mr. Snell for $510,000, plan to make their home in Rappahannock County. They have four children: a son and daughter in Houston, Texas, a son in Washington, D.C., and a son in Louisville, Ky.
