HARRISONBURG — James Madison University’s debate squad is ranked eighth in the National Debate Tournament national standings.
The ranking is based on a point system that includes the number of rounds won in preliminary competition, rounds won in elimination rounds and individual speaker awards received by a school, said Dr. Roger Soenksen, director of forensics.
