NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS—TOWN COUNCIL: DISPOSAL OF COUNTY AND TOWN OWNED PROPERTIES
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County and the Town Council of Washington, VA, intend to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 18, 1989, at 7:30 p.m., at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, to consider the sale of real property owned by each of those bodies.
In accordance with Section 15.1-262 of the Code of Virginia, (1950) as amended, the Board of Supervisors is seeking public comment on the disposal of that property known as the Rappahannock County Public Library Building. The Board is currently considering conveying said property to the Town of Washington for a consideration not yet determined.
In accordance with Section 15.1-847 of the Code of Virginia, (1950) as amended, the Town Council is seeking public comment on the disposal of that property known alternatively as the Town Hall and/or the Old Methodist Church. The Town is currently considering conveying said property to the County of Rappahannock for a consideration not yet determined.
All those persons wishing to attend and make comment are invited to do so.
