Mrs. Bias to speak
Lonise Bias, the mother of the late basketball star Len Bias, will be the speaker at the high school's Athletic Banquet, scheduled for Thursday, June 1 at 7 p.m. at the school. Since her son's death of a cocaine overdose in 1986, Mrs. Bias has travelled the country speaking to young people about the need to develop strong values and self-respect.
