The Amissville Community Yard sale will be held Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Swatmans on Rt. 642, one-quarter mile off Rt. 211. To reserve table space call them at 9375704. Many spaces have been reserved and this promises to be as exciting as the large “flea markets” with many visitors seeking bargains. Angie Hayes will have a table space selling tupperware with the profits to benefit the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Butch Zindel for delivering the column to the Rappahannock News office in Washington. I am continuously amazed at the cooperation and kindness of the people of Amissville.
