Schleeper. Schleeper ran on Eidson’s heels the whole race and then passed him in the final stretch. “He’s beaten me every time we’ve run, but I’m glad he's there because he pushes me to run faster,” said Eidson.
Neither Schleeper nor any of the other runners who finished in front of Eidson will be running next year; they are all seniors.
