dogs, it took time and a great deal of planning. (The real challenge was seeing whose cardboard box ovens produced the most edible food. We tried pizza, brownies (not a troop), cupcakes, and biscuits it all got eaten; we haven’t determined whether for the taste or just plain hunger.
From a personal point of view the pizza saved us because our chicken refused to cook. Then we have a food swap, a little trail mix for pizza, fruit for bread, jelly for bacon-by the way, Mary Jane, I never got my bacon!!
As the sun set behind Skyland Drive we all hiked to the pond for a campfire. Jeannie Welch and Judy Tole’s Cadette Troop 380 hosted the campfire in the absence of our area leader, Sharon Kilpatrick (or was it a planned escape?).
Each troop participates with songs, skits or “Rap Dancing,” after the live entertainment Brownie Troop 929 sprinkled friendship ashes in the fire, which dated back to 1933 and covering 20 countries. The next day back each troop gathered the
