Mrs. C.H. Estes of Sperry -
ville won the sweepstakes and tricolor awards at the Rappahannock County Garden Club Flower Show held Saturday. Her Williamsburg type arrangement in “Our Heritage” class received first place and she was second in “Our SunWashed Shores,” class of interpretative design using foliage and material associated with the ocean.
Rush River near Washington will be stocked with trout on Wednesday, June 4. The season is not closed for this stocking so fishermen will have no interruption in their sport.
