Jessie Turner
Mrs. Jessie Miller Turner, 77, of Mt. Salem Avenue, Washington, died May 18 at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
Mrs. Turner was bom May 27, 1911 at Delamore Farm. She was a retired 3rd grade teacher where she taught for a number of years in Rappahannock County.
She is survived by one son, Dr. L. John Turner, Warrenton; one daughter, Carolyn Dewhirst, Richmond; two grandsons; and two granddaughters.
Graveside services were held May 20 in the Washington Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Larry Hovis and Rev. David Moore officiating.

Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
Bernice Scott
Mrs. Bernice Elizabeth Scott, 74, of Amissville, died May 20.
She is survived by her husband, William 0. Scott Jr.; four nephews; and three nieces.
A funeral service was held May 22 at the Amissville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steven Parker officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
