Job Corps open house

The Culpeper office of the Virginia Employment Commission will sponsor a special open house for the Job Corps on Thursday, July 20 from 2-5 p.m. The public is invited to attend and find out the opportunities available through Job Corps, a federal program which offers specialized vocational training to high school dropouts, potential drop-outs, and graduates seeking further training in their chosen career field. Opportunities are available in word processing, mechanics, electronics and other careers. Students also receive financial benefits while enrolled and upon completion of the Job Corps program.
