Senior ID cards, respite care
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program will take photos for senior identification cards at the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Center on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The center is focated at 401 S. Main St. in Culpeper. The ID cards make seniors eligible for discounts at dozens of area merchants. RRCSC is also forming a respite care cooperative for families with children or adult members who havfl^ oiAal or physical handicaps.

Little League family picnic
The Rappahannock Athletic Association's annual family picnic, which also includes the Little League All-Stars game, is set for Saturday, Aug. 19 at Stuart Field in Amissville. There will also be a trophy presentation to the winners in each league, as well as a softball game between the RAA coaches and the Babe Ruth League players. The Bambino League All-Star game will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the picnic lunch and trophy presentation at noon. At 2 p.m. the coaches and kids square off. There will also be a minor league All-Stars game. Tickets are on sale now to raise money for next year's program. Prizes of an autographed Redskins football and a Redskins jacket will be awarded at the picnic.
