OPERATOR IV

Starling salary $15,918. Must be able to obtain certification as a class IV wastewater operator in the State of Virginia within one year of appointment. Requires high school diploma or GED, experience at a wastewater plant is not required. Must be in good physical condition. Valid motor vehicle operator's license and good driving record required Will assist with facility and equipment operations, building, grounds and equipment maintenance: monitoring pumping station and other related tasks at the plant.

DATA ENTRY CLERK

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Starting salary $15,160. Performs data management and entry duties to transfer information from incident reports to the department's computer system. Requires graduation from high school (or GED) and experience in data entry in an office setting

PUBLIC FACILITIES

INSPECTOR

Starting salary to $27,500 depending on qualifications. Duties will include inspection of streets, water, sewer, stormwater facilities and oth^r public improvements. Thorough knowledge of principles of road, utility and drainage construction and design. General knowledge of construction standards and ability to interpret complex local construction standards, plans, specifications and blueprints. Valid operators license, good physical condition and ability to keep accurate reports and records. Also must possess ability to deal with the development and building industry withtact and integrity. Associates degree in Civil Engineering or related training and responsible experience in the construction industry or public sector inspections.
