Clarence Compton
Clarence Jackson Compton, 62, of Culpeper, an electrical linesman, died July 14, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Richmond.
A native of Culpeper County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Vemie Bruce Compton. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 330 in Culpeper.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Price Compton; two sisters, Nina Palmer, Culpeper and Julia Johnston, Boston, and a brother, Robert W. Compton, Reva.
Another sister, Hilda Weaver, is deceased. His previous wife, the former Julia Frances Duncan, died in 1982.
